There is no place like the Amalfi Coast. Amalfi was the first of the Four Maritime Republics of Italy, which is located in the Campania region. The SS163 highway, which stretches along 13 seaside coastal towns is known for being one of the most scenic drives in the world. The best time to visit the Amalfi Coast is between May and October. At the center of the main square in Amalfi is the intricate Cathedral of St. Andrew, which was built in the 1200s! This cathedral has an intense staircase, bell-tower in Arab-Norman style and a delightful Cloister of Paradise. Seafood is popular in this area, especially tuna!
