Best of Dining at Walt Disney World

Its no secret that here at Seabrook Travel Center we love Walt Disney World, and we want you to love it too! Now is the time to start planning your school vacation Disney trips! The best way to get the best out of your WDW vacation is to know before you go. With so many offerings, its easy to get overwhelmed! That's why your resident Disney experts, Alyson and Kelly, have decided to do a series of our favorite things to do in Disney. The first in this series is our favorite dining and restaurants in Walt Disney World. We've picked 5 restaurants in each category to help make it easy to plan your magical vacation, but the list could go on and on...

Character Dining

1.) 1900 Park Fare -The Grand Floridian

Cinderella, the Prince, Evil Stepmother, and the step sisters all in one place for dinner! A buffet that makes our hearts sing, and excellent service to boot. Anastasia and Drizella are always a fun time and make this experience one to remember. 1900 Park Fare also offers a breakfast buffet with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Winnie the Pooh. So,e dining plans are accepted here. While you're at the Grand Floridian, make sure you check out Basin White for some lovely smelling bath treats!

2.) Chef Mickey's -The Contemporary

Catch the fab five for breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffet. Chef Mickey's is the only place in the parks you can see Mickey in his Chef's outfit! Some dining plans are accepted.

3.) The Crystal Palace -The Magic Kingdom, Main Street U.S.A

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too! Dine with all your friends from the hundred acre woods in this Victorian inspired buffet restaurant right on Main Street for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Some dining plans accepted here, theme park admission is required.

4.) Trattoria al Forno Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast -The Boardwalk

Enjoy a plated breakfast with Rapunzel, Flynn Ryder, Ariel, and Prince Eric! Try the Tangled Tower of pancakes complete with a powder sugar sun on top. Keep this restaurant in mind for delicious Italian dinner later on, with great allergy friendly items! Note: Characters only appear for breakfast.

5.) Cinderella's Royal Table -Magic Kingdom

Dine in Cinderella's beautiful castle for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Perfect for princesses and princes of any age, meet Cinderella and some of her friends in this upscale location. Planning a proposal? Try the Glass Slipper Engagement package! We'll help you plan it all.

Quick Service

1.) La Cantina de San Angel - EPCOT, Mexico

Dine on Mexican fare next to the World Showcase Lagoon. Enjoy a margarita or Mexican soda while you eat! Park admission required. Dining plans accepted. A great option for those with gluten sensitives, like Alyson's husband!

2.) The Friar's Nook - Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland

BBQ chicken mac and cheese? Yes, Please! Right by the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, this quick service is a great spot to take a break from your own adventures. Park admission required. Dining plans accepted.

3.) Backlot Express - Hollywood Studios, Echo Lake

May the fork be with you. Try Star Wars' inspired lunch and dinners with options like the Royal Guard Burger, served on a black bun, or Dark Side chicken and waffles! Park admission required, dining plans accepted.

4.) Flame Tree Barbecue -Animal Kingdom, Discovery Island

Smokehouse meats and crisp salads, a favorite among husbands! Listen to the Discovery Island Carnivale live entertainment while dining. Park Admission Required. Dining plans accepted.

5.) Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe -Magic Kingdom, Tomorrowland

Delicious burgers with a topping bar to make your futuristic lunch complete. Paging Mr. Tom Morrow!

Unique Dining

1.) Yak and Yeti -Animal Kingdom, Asia

Start your Everest Expedition at this Napalese style resturant nestled in Asia right by the Kali River Rapids. Yak and Yeti is a must for those with food allergies! Alyson's Chicken Tikki Masala was her favorite meal of her most recent trip! Park admission required. Some dining plans accepted.

2.) Chefs de France -EPCOT, France

Paris is always a good idea, even in Disney World. Keep an eye out for Remy! Park admission required. Some dining plans accepted.

3.) Sci Fi Dine-In Theater - Hollywood Studios, Commissary Lane

With all revamped food, dine in this 50's style restaurant while watching sci fi movie clips! Try the Seasonal Specialty burger!

4.) The Coral Reef -EPCOT, future world, The Seas with Nemo and Friends

A classic! Watch the sea life, there's over 4,000 creatures who call the aquarium home! The menu varies by season, but we loved the Calamari appetizer. Park admission required. Some dining plans accepted.

5.) Grand Floridan Cafe -Grand Floridan

Views of rose gardens and the pool make you feel relaxed and luxurious as you dine on the best french onion soup you will ever have! A Seabrook Travel MUST DO! This restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some Dining plans accepted.

Dining Experiences

1.) Highway in the Sky Dine Around

Five amazing courses from 3 Disney hotels and ending with special viewing of the Happily Ever After Fireworks! Take the monorail from the Contemporary, to the Polynesian, The Grand Floridian, and then back to the Contemporary to end your magical evening. Availability is limited. $170 per person plus tax, gratuity and valet parking included. When booking, please inform us of any allergies. Dress code required. Men may wear collared shirts paired with khakis, slacks, jeans or dress shorts.Women may wear capri pants, skirts, dresses, jeans or dress shorts.Not permitted are swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, cut-offs and torn clothing. Men may not wear hats or tank tops. While t-shirts are allowed, t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics are not permitted.

2.) Firework Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

End your magical day with well deserved treats and exclusive fireworks seating for the Happily Ever After Fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Admission is $79 per adult and $47 per child (ages 3 to 9) including tax; gratuity not included or required. Separate Magic Kingdom park admission is also required.Please note that the fireworks experience may be changed or canceled without prior notice.

3.) Rivers of Light Dining Package

Get premuim seating to the new Rivers of Light Fireworks show in Animal Kingdom! Have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Tusker House restaurant in Harambe or choose lunch or dinner at Tiffins Resturant. When its time for the fireworks arrive to exclusive seating not available to anyone else!

Tiffans, Lunch/Dinner starting at: $67.00 adults $26.00 children ages 3 to 9

Dining package excludes tax, park admission, gratuity and alcohol. The preferred Rivers of Light seating area is separate from the dining location.Advance reservations for the Rivers of Light Dining Package are highly recommended.

4.)Fantasmic! Dining Package

Choose from three resturants to reserve your VIP seating for the Fantasmic! Fireworks show! Prices range from $39-$65 for adults and $22-$26 for children. All listed package prices do not include alcohol or required park admission. Alcohol will only be served to Guests 21 and older. Advance reservations for Fantasmic! Dining Packages are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.

5.) Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Dancers, drummers, a fire and knife show, and more traditions from Polynesia excite and entertain while you dine at an all you can eat feast including pork, chicken, ribs, and a guava cake! Children's favorites are available for picky eaters. Guests can book category 2 and 3 seats using 2 dining points. Otherwise prices range from $66-$78 for adults and $39-$46 for kids. Price includes tax and gratuity. Prices and show times are subject to change without notice. This show may be cancelled due to severe or inclement weather.

Book by December 22 and save $500 on select Resort hotels! Subject to availability.
