*Monte Cassino monastery was constructed on an older pagan site, the temple of Apollo that crowned the hill.This sanctuary was the site of the Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944, where the building was destroyed by Allied bombing and rebuilt after the war. It is the home of the sacred relics of St. Benedict the patron Saint of Europe and the founder of western monasticism.
*Sperlonga: Where actors, artists, and writers once flocked to tiny Sperlonga—a white confection overlooking the impossibly blue Tyrrhenian Sea—for a soothing taste of la dolce vita. It is truly Italy's best-kept secret.
*Split Mountain: A breathtaking place that will steal your heart! According to religious tradition, it is called Split Mountain because the mountain split in three parts upon the death of Christ.

Relax in this small town south of Rome at Hotel Tenuta Esdra
Day 1
Relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Cocktail reception waiting for us. Bag lunch will be served. Dinner at the hotel included with a glass of wine.
Day 2
AM we’ll visit the open market and see how the locals shop!
PM early visit the Abbey of Montecassino or take a cooking class at the hotel
Dinner on your own or come with us to our favorite restaurant.
Day 3
AM we leave the hotel and spend the day at the beautiful town of Sperlonga. On our way back we’ll stop in Gaeta to visit the Split Mountain. Optional - Join us for a pre-set dinner at a local restaurant in Aquino. (Home of St. Thomas of Aquinas)
4 nights - Praiano
Enjoy the views of the Amalfi Coast from the Hotel Margherita
Day 4
Take a walk to the town of Praiano or take the bus to the famous town of Positano. Dinner at the hotel included with a glass of wine.
Day 5
Full day bus trip to Amalfi, Ravello and pre-paid 2 hrs tour of Pompeii

This is your day for shopping or just relax
Day 7
This is your day to visit the island of Capri or just relax
3 nights - Rome
Staying at Hotel Memphis located in the heart of the city
Day 8
Take a stroll and enjoy the Dolce Vita! Don’t forget to treat yourself to an espresso or gelato. Dinner downtown is included with a glass of wine.

AM relax or shop in the morning
